Register now for the eleventh national forum for clinical research in critical care, emergency medicine and acute medicine. This year's event will be hosted by Professor Danny McAuley, Dr Murali Shyamsundar and Professor Bronagh Blackwood at Queen's University, Belfast on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 June 2018.
The UKCCRF is an opportunity to:
- Present new study proposals
- Provide/receive constructive peer review/feedback/mentorship
- Update on “hot topics” in clinical trials
- Network with peers and meet new collaborators
The Provisional Programme can be found at the bottom of the page. The Forum will start at 09:50 on Thursday 7 June (registration from 9:00) and end at 16:20 on Friday 8 June. Lunch and refreshments will be served on both days.
Please note that this programme is provisional and is subject to change.
The Delegates’ Dinner will take place on the evening of Thursday 7 June. The evening will start at 19:30 with a wine reception in the Naughton Gallery followed by an Irish Dance display in the Black & White Hall. The Delegates Dinner will then be held at 20:30 in The Great Hall all within The Queen’s University. If you would like to attend, please indicate this on your Registration Form. Please note that places are limited so register early to avoid disappointment.

Presenting study proposals
If you would like to present a new study, complete the New Study Proposal Template included at the bottom of this page, indicating in section 4 whether you would like to present a full proposal or an exploratory proposal. Please send this to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 27 April 2018.
If you would like to present an update on an ongoing study, email email@example.com to request a presentation slot by Friday 27 April 2018.
The research clinic is an opportunity for delegates to discuss a research topic of their choice with an expert. Delegates can use this session to discuss various research themes such as development of a research protocol, study design, statistical challenges, grant application, mentorship, academic career advice etc

Research Working Group Meetings
Five research working group meeting slots are available during the UKCCRF meeting. Chief Investigators for UK multicentre critical care trials may request a slot to allow networking with site PIs for their trials. Please email with the preferred time slot as stated in the programme. Please also state the number of PIs who will come to your session for the purpose of room allocation.
