Hello, my name is Anna Alderslade. I am the Clinical Projects Manager in the Physical North East & Yorkshire Physical Health & Prevention Clinical Programmes Team working on the respiratory programme at NHS England. I’m passionate about creating a better future for our patients with a lung condition and reducing associated health inequalities. This role is about supporting our Integrated Care Boards and providers in the NEY region. We do this by facilitating shared learning and peer support, improving data and giving teams an opportunity for innovative thinking for quality improvement.
With a background as a specialist respiratory physiotherapist, I have primarily worked in the community, focusing on admission prevention, symptom management, and pulmonary rehabilitation. I earned my MSc (Hons) in Advanced Clinical Practice in 2018, along with my independent prescribing qualification.
Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic hockey player and am involved in establishing inclusive hockey at our club.
