Lunchtime webinar: Paediatric respiratory assessment for the adult physiotherapist
New Lunctime Webinar series throughout the Year
In this session, we will outline some of the differences between adults and children and the implications this has on our clinical assessment. Fundamentals of assessment will be outlined, both for ventilated children and those who are self-ventilating. Special considerations for children with long-term respiratory illnesses and those with neurological conditions will also be discussed. This session is specifically aimed at physiotherapists who primarily work with adult patients and are either new to paediatrics or cover the paediatric wards less frequently. All are welcome!

The Association for Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care (ACPRC) is a professional network of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
