Apply to be the Education Champion.
This role provides the ACPRC with leadership and management of all educational events including all short courses as well as the biennial conference.
They have the following roles (although not exclusive)
- To be a member of the ACPRC with an interest and experience in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.
- To help to signpost members to individuals who may be able to provide support, advice and guidance for all ACPRC members nationally or within their locality with regards to courses and education opportunities
- To disseminate information that could influence clinical practice and service development within the specific Education area of Physiotherapy through:
- ACPRC Newsletter
- ACPRC website
- Local or national meetings/study days/Congress
- Social Media
- Physiotherapy Frontline
- To work closely with and support the other ACPRC champions in completing study days and conference every other year.
- To provide structure for the processes involved in setting up study days and conferences.
- To work closely with other ACPRC committee members, medical, nursing and other AHP associations to ensure that ACPRC members are represented.
- To ensure that champions are supported with delivery of their short course including advertising, booking and on the day support.
- To contribute to the monthly ACPRC electronic newsletter with any educational events and ensure all relevant information is added to the website / highlighted on social media in a timely manner
- To lead on the booking, designing and delivery of conference co-ordinating the committee with tasks and outputs in conjunction with the Secretary and Chair.
