Lightning Talks
A lightning talk is a short presentation on anything! The scope is wider than an abstract and can include a clinical reflection, case study, new way of working, alternative technique, novel equipment, or innovation. Or it could be a research proposal or literature review, rather than a full research abstract. It could also be a research project, service evaluation or clinical audit.
This is your opportunity to present at the conference, and your name will be included on the speakers list. Lightning talks will take place within the main programme. We would particularly encourage those who are new to presenting to submit a proposal, although we welcome all submissions!
To submit a proposal:
- Write a short piece (250 words max) outlining your lightning talk.
- Include a brief background/introduction, your main text and a ‘take-home message.’
- You may submit a maximum of 3 proposals per person as the presenting author
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your idea further, please get in touch with our Education Champion, Sara Knight, at education@acprc.org.uk.
